Box Chair by Enzo Mari (Driade Edition) c. 1990s

The Box Chair was designed by Enzo Mari in ~1971. Anonima Castelli tasked him with producing a chair to sell alongside Piretti’s collection and he did just that. The design stayed true to his ethos while looking like it belonged with Piretti’s collection of folding furniture.

The chair would later be produced in a second edition circa 1995 by Driade under their Aleph Atlantide collection — this is one such example.

Some wear is present, but overall it’s in really great condition. I’ve used it at my dining table since importing from Italy earlier this year.
