Wicker Bull Head, France, mid-20th century

Painted black at some point in its life and on the smaller side comparatively, this is reminiscent of the one Picasso had in his Cannes studio circa 1959. I’ve seen it said that the larger version was The Father and this smaller design portrayed The Son.

Occupies roughly a 14 x 14" space on the wall

Purchased from an east coast seller and it's been on various walls in my apartment ever since :)
